Passing of Paul Leggett

On a more sombre note I would like to acknowledge the great work that Paul did around the school. He was incredibly flexible and worked enthusiastically across the school in all classes and subjects. The school community is in shock over the tragic accident that happened and would like to extend their thoughts and kind wishes to Paul’s family and friends during this period of mourning.

CMS Presentation Night

Congratulations to all students!

Thursday December 1st was the annual Centralian Middle School Presentation Night. The evening was run by our fabulous School Captains who facilitated the presentation of awards, musical items and performances from our students.

As well as highlighting the efforts of our students, we also said goodbye to our graduating Year 9 students for 2016. It was a wonderful night with over 450 people in attendance.

We would like to thank everyone who support our students throughout the year and to everyone who attended the evening. We look forward to supporting all our students in 2017.

Colour SPLASH

What a way to end the school year. Everyone was invited to participate in the annual colour SPLASH!

Starting in the hall, all students were prepared with their new crisp white t-shirts provided by Miss Axten and Kirsten. The run started with jets of water spraying all the runners, followed by colourful jets of water at each interval. RED, BLUE, YELLOW and GREEN colour stations covered the new white t-shirts, the run ended with a waterslide leaving everyone happy and rainbow coloured.

Lunch was provided and enjoyed by everyone. Staff DJ’d some music with the help of students creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

All the money raised will help to support the 2017 leadership camp for SRC, House and School Captains. Miss Axten and Kirsten would like to Thank everyone for their support.
